Entry to the Server

Once you've joined the server, you'll only be able to see one channel to begin. You must read through that channel and react to a message with the correct emoji in order to gain a role that will open up new channels. This will go on as you'll set your profile (nickname, pronouns, region). Then you'll do a short quiz to make sure you understand the basics of the server. Once you've done all this and you pass the quiz, a staff member will give you access to the server.

In every server you join, there are certain things you must do before you can gain access. Setting up your profile is one of those things. 아미 KSG has added steps to familiarize members with the workings of the server so they're not overwhelmed and confused once they get access.

Don't worry, this should happen! This is to prevent other members from seeing your answers. Staff, however, can still see them.

Once you've received acccess to the server, you will receive a temporary 'Newcomer' role for two (2) weeks which tells staff that you're new and will possibly need some extra assistance.

Absolutely! If you're ever kicked from the server (provided you weren't also banned), you can rejoin in two weeks. You should receive a dm with this information the moment you are kicked.

General Member Quota

Server points are our way of tracking how active you are on the server. In order to remain on the server, you need to have at least two (2) server points monthly. You can earn server points by joining any of the courses, clubs, or activities we have on the server and completing the quota for them.

Every month we conduct what we call a 'server check'. This where we check to see if all the members of the server have fulfilled quota. Those who have less than 2 points are placed on a list called the 'inactive' list. Inactives are given a chance to reach out to us and explain the reason for their inactivity and what they can do to fix it. From there, they get placed in 'detention' and have the chance to submit any activity of their choice to regain access to the server. Being inactive 2 months in a row will result in a kick!

Nope! You can join as many things as you'd like. You just have to be mindful of the quota that comes with each. For example, you need to attend at least 2 club meetings and complete the club assignment in order to remain in a club. Thus, starting off with a few is a good idea.

Points do not roll over. Any points you earn within a month will be counted for that month only.

Yes! You are allowed to be excused for as long as a month. You are, however, unable to be excused right before a server check. You will have to wait until after.

There is a sheet pinned in the register channel under the ticketbooth category that allows you to track how many server points you have so far.

No. If you joined at the end of the month, you do not need to earn 2 server points. Your quota would begin the following month.

Contacting Staff

Most questions can be answered by our mods in the server-questions channel under the parking lot category.
  • If you would like to speak to organizing staff, then you would use the ModMail bot on the server. Send a dm to the bot, validate your request (the steps will be there) and you'll be in contact with staff!
  • If you'd like your message to be sent to admins and main organizers only, you can email us at contact@armyksg.com or fill out the form on our contact page.
  • If you'd like to contact us about a potential partnership, send an email to partner@armyksg.com.

ModMail is a medium through which server members can speak with staff. Newcomers often think the bot is replying to them. All tickets (requests) are seen and attended to by staff. Usually no response means no staff member is online to reply to you. Please be patient!

There are a few different steps to do. Please try these in order:
    • Click on the link and then log off.
    • Now, click on the link again, log in and then try to verify.
  1. Close your dms with modmail and try again.
  2. Use a different browser. Ex. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari, or any other browser your computer or phone has.
  3. If step 3 doesn’t work. Try step 1 again but on a different browser.
  4. If steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 don’t work, try again in a few hours. The website is faulty so sometimes this issue occurs.
  5. If none of the above works, please send in =send 772579096307564604 beginner. The number here is the Server ID.

No. It is one of our rules to not dm staff members. You can, however, ping them and ask for permission to dm. Once they respond, you can go ahead. DMing a staff member without asking first will result in a warning.

This is nothing to worry about. It simply means that staff has closed the ticket as we believe whatever you contacted us about needs no further discussion. You are free to open another if you so desire.

Miscellaneous

Concert buddies are our version of study buddies. On the server, you can post applications giving a bit of info about yourself. Others can read it and request to be your concert buddy. You can do the same as well.

As a General Member this isn't heavily monitored, but we suggest having only one.

No. If your role is missing, it is because of a bot glitch. You can let us know and we'll fix it.

The bot is unable to count and join data from two servers. Instead, you can earn active roles on the second server, which get transferred to the main server every week. Roles transferred from the second server will have [KSGC] beside them.

  • If you were the winner of last week's giveaway, you will not be able to join this week's.
  • If you have roles such as inactive, detention or muted, you are not permitted to join a giveaway.
  • You do not have to claim. Staff will be the ones to issue the hearts and you will be pinged when this is done.

    Staff Applications

Absolutely! Once you meet the requirements you are free to fill out an application on our applications page. We are always seeking new people to join our team!

While we appreciate it, we ask that you only apply for one position. Apply for the one you are most interested in.

We generally try to respond to you within a few days of the application. Should more than a week pass without a response, feel free to reach out to us to confirm.

Training duration varies for each role. Check out our applications page to see how long each role must train for.

    Clubs

Yes. You are free to join as many club as you like. Just be mindful of the quota for each and make sure you have enough time to partake in all.

No, clubs have a specific time period when they are opened. During this period, you free to join or leave any club without any repercussions.

Clubs are open for the first two weeks of the month. This is to give everyone a fair chance of completing club quota.

In order to complete quota for and remain in a club, you must attend at least two (2) meetings for the month and complete the monthly assignment.

When you fail to attend at least two (2) club meetings for the month, you receive the 'dropped' role and are removed from that club. You will have to purchase (with surver currency, not real money) a rejoin item from our server shop in order to rejoin the club.

When you fail to complete the monthly assignment for a club, you receive the 'fined' role. You will then have to pay to have the role removed. If you didn't complete the assignment for multiple clubs, you only pay one fine.

You can check out our Clubs page for a list of all our available clubs.

Yes! A lot of clubs we currently have were suggestions made by server members. When suggesting a club, provide us with a possible name, description, activities to be done, and topics to be covered. If you would like to be leader for said club, you can also draft up an outline of what a month in the club would look like.
